Certificates for less VOC-emissions

Zukunftsorientierte Produktentwicklung

We are happy being able to communicate that all  VIASOL GREEN LINE ECO systems fulfill the following requirements: Leed v4, Breeam, AgBB, French and Belgium VOC-regulation, Finnish M1

These certificates show that we especially stand up for health and sustainability in building.

Thanks to these certificates you will be able to prove to the building owners or architects the quality and environmental sustainability of the VIASOL GREEN LINE ECO systems via an external quality review.

Our emission-tested VIASOLGREEN LINE ECO systems for indoor rooms now have TÜV-PROFiCERT certificates instead of the no longer valid Ü-mark for Germany. These Certificates indicate that the systems comply with the VOC regulations of various European countries for low VOC emissions in indoor air.

After the abolition of the Ü-mark for emission-tested products according to AgBB, we announced in 2016 that the company VIACOR Polymer GmbH will in any case ensure that the performance and quality of our products are maintained in the usual way.

Together with the TÜV Hessen and the testing institute EPH in Dresden, a system of external quality control has been established that continues the quality standards required earlier for the Ü-mark, such as initial testing, auditing and annual monitoring tests. A health assessment of the construction products based on the ingredient of our products and the emissions of VOC (volatile organic compounds) and SVOC (semi-volatile organic compounds) is carried out.

We are pleased to announce that all VIASOLGREEN LINE ECO systems meet the following requirements, which are covered by the TÜV PROFiCERT certificate:

Germany:
AgBB requirement of the DIBT of 2015

France:
French VOC regulation "Décret n ° 2011-321 du 23 mars 2011", minimum emission class A

Belgium:
Belgian VOC-Regulation on emissions from construction products "8 MEI 2014. - Koninklijk besluit tot voor den de drempelniveaus voor de emissies naar het binnenmilieu van bouwproducten voor bepaalde beoogde gebruiken"

BREEAM:
BREEAM International New Construction 2016 (Technical Manual SD233 1.0), minimum general level

LEED:
LEED v4 (outside North America, LEED v4 for Building Design and Construction, April 5, 2016)

The TÜV-PROFiCERT-product Interior (PREMIUM) certificate includes additionally:
Germany: AgBB, February 2015 with increased requirements for the VOC limit after 28 days
France: emission class A+ according to French VOC regulation
Finland: Finnish M1 Classification (Acceptance and ammonia requirements not included)
BREEAM: Exemplary Level

The VIASOLGREEN LINE ECO systems and the PORPLASTICINDOOR systems have been certified since October 2017 either as

  • TÜV-PROFiCERT-product Interior or even as
  • TÜV-PROFiCERT-product Interior (PREMIUM) with increased requirements

Our system series with all variations and all products occurring in them have the following certificates:

System series and the certificate:

You will find the certificates on our homepage www.viacor.de in the internal area. If you do not yet have access to the internal area, please contact marketing(at)viacor.de

With these certificates, you and we can now again prove to the builder or architect the high quality and environmental compatibility of the VIASOLGREEN LINE ECO systems with an external quality check.

Background to the abolition of the Ü-mark 2016::
In the past, due to German additional requirements, CE-marked construction products sometimes had to be additionally labeled with the Ü-mark on the labels. For VIACOR, the GREEN LINE ECO systems were affected, i.e. the VOC-tested AgBB systems, all of which have a “allgemeine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung” (general building authority approval, abZ) of the German DiBt valid until 10-2016. In these cases, the construction products concerned were marked with the European CE mark according to EN 13813 and the German Ü-mark for indoor emission control. The European Commission has brought an action against Germany before the European Court of Justice (ECJ). In its judgment in Case C-100/13 of 16 October 2014, the ECJ ruled that it is inadmissible for EU Member States to impose national additional requirements (Ü-Zeichen) on European harmonized (CE-marked) construction products. As a result, Germany has submitted an amended Musterbauordnung (MBO), which is the basis for the amendment of the building regulations of the federal states (Landesbauordnungen LBO). It is no longer possible to obtain abZ /abP for CE-marked building products. Already obtained abP and abZ lose their validity for CE-marked construction products with the entry into force of the relevant state building regulations. However, existing ABP and ABZ can still be used to prove additional product properties under private or contractual law that are not covered by the CE marking or declaration of performance.

The 2-year transitional period for Germany ended in October 2016. Since then, VIACOR has no longer attached any Ü-marks to the labels of the products in the above-mentioned systems. Stock items with Ü-mark, which were manufactured before 16.10.2016, can be used as normal. Thanks to the new certification, VIACOR Polymer GmbH has ensured that the performance and quality of the products concerned are maintained in the usual way.
