The new classification and labelling occurs for mixtures according to GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals) also known as the CLP Regulation becomes effective on June 1st 2015.

The new classification and labelling occurs for mixtures according to GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals) also known as the CLP Regulation becomes effective on June 1st 2015.

 

Important information

This system is intended to improve its worldwide uniform application in the standard of occupational safety, health, environmental and consumer protection and the transport of dangerous goods.

 

We have developed new labels and safety data sheets with all important information and the corresponding GHS symbols for all our products. To ensure a smooth transition for you, we already changed before the deadline. We also use the occasion to change the design of VIACOR labels to make them even clearer. From now on all labels will be printed in two languages.


What else is important for you:

  • Newly produced goods will be sent with the new labels and new data sheets from May 12th 2015
  • Currently on stock products are still equipped with the well-known labels; in general stocked products with old labels can be used until June 1st 2017 without amendment
  • The new safety data sheets can be requested from us - alternatively, the data sheets from June 1st 2015 are available on our website for download. If necessary please ask for a customer login at info@viacor.de
